We specialize in modern permanent makeup techniques that compliment your personal beauty and individuality, and achieve the most natural, multidimensional results with cosmetic tattooing.

This intelligent upper eyeliner tattoo is the perfect solution for anyone with allergies, dexterity issues, vision problems, or an active lifestyle. Eyes appear larger and more striking, and lashline appears thicker and fuller after Lashline Enhancement. For a subtle, "barely there" look, an extremely thin line of custom color is implanted in the lash base creating a fuller, thicker, lovelier lashline. With technique and pigments based on eye color, shape, and personal features this treatment is truly unmatched.

Every appointment at Victory Ink begins with a thorough consultation when you arrive. This is a very personal service, so we take time to listen to your preferences and to thoroughly evaluate your skin and history to determine which brow technique is most appropriate for you. Our goal is a beautiful, long term result. At Victory, you are part of the entire process. We are a team!

Lashline Enhancement is a 2 step process: the initial appointment and a retouch appointment 2-3 months later. The retouch visit is not optional; this important step completes, enhances, and prolongs your results. To best plan for your appointments, please read the following service details thoroughly.

WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT?

  • Lashline enhancement is not recommended for those with extremely hooded eyelids, lens implants, thin or fragile skin, cataracts, glaucoma or visible veins in the eyelids. Permanent Makeup / Cosmetic Tattoos are not recommended for those undergoing chemotherapy, radiation or immunotherapy treatment, those on prednisone, steroids, or blood thinners, for women who are pregnant or nursing, or those with MRSA, blood borne or contagious illness, lupus, or who have a history of facial shingles. Tattoos should be avoided within 2 weeks of any vaccination or surgical procedure. (**Clients with anemia, diabetes, rosacea, psoriasis, or previous cancer history MUST bring a dr. note to the appt authorizing procedure.**) Tattooing the lower lashline is NOT recommended. This area is prone to discoloration and pigment migration.
  • PMU procedures are strictly prohibited if accutane/isotretinoin has been used within 1 year. We must also avoid doxycycline antibiotics or oral steroids within 3 months of service. Schedule facials 30 days before or 60 days after, and any Botox 30 days before or 2 weeks after. To avoid very serious complications, NO growth serums on lashes (including castor oil) for 90 days before your service, no exceptions. Please schedule accordingly.
  • Clients with chronic dry eye should know that using Restasis (cyclosporine) increases sensitivity during procedure.
  • Wait 6 months after blepharoplasty for lashline enhancement to ensure stabilization of tissue.
  • Please avoid the following for 30 days prior to AND after your appointment: lash extensions, direct sun or UV tanning, exfoliating acids (retinols, alpha-hydroxy acid, tretinoin or similar) above the cheekbones, no exceptions. This will have a direct impact on your comfort during the procedure and on results.
  • Stop using all serums, oil-based products, lotions and creams around the eyes 1 week before your appointment. Oil impedes pigment retention and may result in rescheduling.
  • Please avoid alcohol the night prior to your appointment and avoid caffeine, smoking, alcohol, fish oil, NSAIDs (aspirin, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, naproxen and similar) for 24 HOURS before your appointment unless medically necessary. These directly impact your comfort during the procedure, retention and the quality of your healed result.
  • DO NOT WEAR MAKEUP TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. Please remove all makeup with a non-oil based cleanser before you arrive. Remove contact lenses and wear glasses instead. Topical anesthetics will be used during the procedure for your comfort.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT?

  • Eyes may feel dry for the first day, due to the wiping away of natural oils during your service. Days 1-4 Your pigment will appear crisp and dark. Lids may appear slightly swollen, pink, or dry for the first few days upon waking. Days 5-14 The service area will flake a bit as your skin layers regenerate. You can wear eye makeup after 7 days. Days 15-30 Your lashline will temporarily look muted or faded as the skin layers continue to heal. Pigment will reappear gradually from weeks 4-8. At your retouch we will add more pigment and definition.
  • AVOID hot tubs, saunas, tanning, and heavy exercise. Moderate exercise is okay.
  • While Permanent Makeup is a Cosmetic Tattoo process, pigment placement is shallower than a traditional body art tattoo and will heal differently. Best healed results vary by individual. Skin type, sensitivity, texture, scar tissue/sun damage, pH, metabolism, medical history etc. all play a role in your pigment retention. The better you care for your skin, the more beautiful and lasting your results will be. Permanent Makeup services are designed to soften and fade over time and will likely need a color boost around 18 months.
  • To preserve and protect your investment, always avoid using bleach, lasers and exfoliants on the treatment area, and WEAR SPF to avoid UV discoloration.
